i would say half Rocket 88 !! all wires are PSC+. It offers everything that the highest model of this brand has in this segment....I strongly recommend it for top shelf loudspeakers or tube amplifiers... a bit of history:
The TYPE 9 speaker cable is built on Star-Quad geometry. Four solid core conductors have been successfully used by AudioQuest in speaker cables for 39 years. He first used this technology in 1980 with the BC-4 cable. A few years later, the TYPE 4 model was introduced, complete with polypropylene insulation. After the evolutionary process, in 1995, the current version of the TYPE 4 cable began to be sold, which has been produced in an unchanged design until now.
The new TYPE 9 speaker cable is basically the same as TYPE 4 but uses better copper conductors. It's still the decades-old Star-Quad geometry layout, but newly applied is a combination of premium Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors with different cross-sections for perfect detail and accurate bass. In addition, the cable uses a multi-layer carbon-based NDS shielding system that eliminates distortion and noise. The result is a significant shift in cable audio qualities and a very quiet and black background.
The TYPE 9 cable is also slightly thicker than previous Series 4 cables. The conductors are further apart and the interaction between adjacent conductors is reduced by 35%.
The TYPE 9 is an excellent full-range cable, but of course you can achieve even better results in a Double Bi-Wire application.
