You can pair the BLACK HOLE ground wire with almost any AudioQuest cable (*) with RCA connectors to create a dedicated, ultra-low distortion turntable cable. The ground wire minimizes distortion, protects against RFI interference, and dramatically improves the overall dispersion of high-frequency noise in your audio/video system. The result is a sound with a "blacker background" and richer tonal rendering. Proper grounding results in a more vibrant sound, more impressive detail, dynamics, and more natural color. Unlike other ground wires, which often act more like high-frequency antennas, the AudioQuest BLACK HOLE prevents hum while effectively dissipating high-frequency noise. It uses premium-grade conductors — AudioQuest's 6% silver on polished long-grain copper (LGC). The conductors are directional and cold-welded to #10 silver-plated, direct-wire forks. The conductors have a solid core, eliminating interactions between individual strands, which are the main source of dynamic distortion in cables. For perfect RF noise dissipation, an RF trap made of carbon containing conductive PVC is applied.

The ground wire minimizes distortion, protects against RFI interference and significantly improves the overall dispersion of high-frequency noise of your audio/video system.
