Technological terms:

UP-OCC – pure monocrystalline metal structure without typical crystals on the surface, the highest level of quality of current development, technological know-how of Neotech Dr. Ohno.

OCC – technologically modified conductor in the form of cold rolling of OFC metal and its densification, reducing it by up to 80% of the original thickness, then surface polishing of the conductor and treatment in a cryo chamber.

OFC – conductor made by drawing, which has a long grain structure, i.e. about 50x better structure for conducting sound than the standard production process

The concept of flat conductor – as is known, sound spreads through the conductor on the surface and if we want as many surfaces as possible for better transmission of all frequencies, we must increase the number of conductors or increase the circumference of the conductor in the case of a round conductor. This brings with it problems, higher price of conductors, thicker cable with the need for better shielding. Neotech came up with an elegant solution for a flat conductor three years ago. One flat conductor is about 2.80 - 3.24 of a standard round conductor with a thickness of 0.80 - 1.20mm.

Neotech NEI-1002 - UP-OCC patch cable with triple silver shielding - cut to size

Neotech NEI-1002 is a modulation cable consisting of two silver monocrystalline UP-OCC conductors with a gold admixture /about 5%/. These conductors are kept at the same distance thanks to the use of PE tubes and insulated with a PE sheath. Triple shielding drastically reduces the influence of interference, namely with a PTFE layer, Al-Mylar foil and silver-plated copper braid. The cable is finally covered with a PVC sheath and dressed in nylon braid. Important note, the cable is 17mm even with the braid, so it will only fit into one connector, namely the NEX and NER OCC of the Neotech Cable series, it will not fit anywhere else, not even with other brands!
