Formula GC-303's electromagnetic interference-absorbing antimagnetic modules surround each cable.
High-performance, beautifully designed XLR connectors [FP-601M(R)] and [FP-602F(R)] transmit a reflection-free signal for extremely low jitter performance
High-contact pins of luxuriously machined non-magnetic rhodium-plated phosphor bronze for a stable Furutech Pure Transmission signal
Additionally shielded with special fiberglass braid and 0.12 mm diameter α (Alpha) conductor.
Air-foamed HDPE insulation to reduce capacitance and dampen vibration
The result is greater resolution, clarity, strong dynamics and an exceptionally quiet soundstage in which music develops more fully without the artificial glare of the higher frequency "presence region".
The GC-303 allows for deeper, tighter bass that forms a solid foundation for the rest of the frequency range and better defines the location of the original recording. Natural, unforced detail reveals nuance and energy for an immersive musical experience.
The α (Alpha) driver consists of fine PCOCC wire fibers treated with Furutech's α (Alpha) cryogenic and demagnetization process.
What the critics are saying
"The sound of Furutech's cable can easily be described as one that completely avoids those strange stripes that result from the accentuation, the providence of some silver cables that emphasize edge definition for an almost surreal image lock. Such sharp edging then becomes synonymous with etching. It creates a short-lived appearance of exceptional detail - short-lived because such a sound is not only unrealistic, but tiring.
"Furutech cables clearly do not cause this. They are, however, exceptionally detailed. I can't help but think that the hexagonal barrel-shaped innards [of the Formula GC-303 modules] are at least somewhat responsible for this wealth of clearly intelligible internal detail. Rather than spewing detail at you, they spew inter-tonal noise. While the end result may seem the same - more detail - the way they communicate is very different. Simply put, the Furutes never get tired even at elevated levels, yet they remain extremely resolved."
