There aren't many power cords that can offer what this one does, the music has a perfect bass foundation just by the fact that there are wires like concrete, the music has oomph and really entertains, and the music also has the necessary sheen but it doesn't dazzle like many wires where there is silver plated copper! It's a whole different league of music, clarity, liquidity and solidity of display. I highly recommend it for systems that need to be set up, where bass and clarity are needed and where treble is in short supply. All of which this cable has to offer! Highly recommended...

Compatibility:

I recommend this power cable for integrated amplifiers up to 300W of power and also end amps, but it is also excellent for CD players, higher end streamers, preamps. Tube amps up to 30 watts and fet amps up to 80 watts of power/ I recommend the NEP 3003 III power cable, which will be more suitable. For extremely powerful amps typically over 300 watts of power, or filtering, subwoofers recommend the NEP-3001 which has a larger cross section wire.

Technology terms:

UP-OCC - pure single crystal metal structure without typical crystals on the surface, the highest quality level of current development, technological know-how of Neotech Dr. Ohno.

OCC - technologically treated conductor in the form of cold rolling of OFC metal and its thickening reducing up to 80% of the original thickness, further surface polishing of the conductor and treatment in a cryo chamber.

OFC - a drawn conductor that has a long grain structure, i.e. about 50 times better structure for conducting sound than the standard manufacturing process

The concept of flat conductor - as we know, sound propagates through a conductor superficially, and if we want to make those surfaces as many as possible for better transmission of all frequencies, we have to add the number of conductors or increase the circumference of the conductor in the case of a round conductor. This brings with it problems, higher cost of conductors, thicker cable with the need for better shielding. Neotech came up with an elegant flat wire arrangement three years ago. One flat conductor is about 2.80 - 3.24 of a standard 0.80 - 1.20mm thick round conductor.

This industrial company was founded by Professor Ohno of Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan in 1991 in Taiwan. When he introduced to the hifi industry a standard in the form of monocrystalline silver and copper conductors known as UP-OCC /pure conductor without typical crystals on the surface created by drawing the conductor during production/, then technologically modified originally round conductors, in a star or spiral shape, to improve the sound expression /better dynamics and behavior of silver on the bass/ and thus increase the transmitted area of sound. It is also worth mentioning the latest technology in the production of flat conductors /multiple times the transmitted sound area compared to round conductors up to 3.24 times/. During the following period, new conductor geometry procedures were introduced /randomly braided conductors in the cable body, active shielding of conductors by the system of gradual application of newly developed materials /teflon, carbon/ and then by steaming copper and silver foils of several microns thickness on the cable body as a secondary protection of conductors. At present, a number of global brands such as Siltech, Audioquest, Atlas cable, and dozens of others are sourcing conductors from this technology company. These conductors find application in the highest models of their production sold for tens of thousands of euros.

So I believe that this company is a world leader in new technologies in the hifi industry and should not escape your attention. I am proud to represent this industrial brand here in the Czech Republic. NEOTECH NEP-3002 III - Silver plated copper power cable UP-OCC 3,80mm²

Neotech's NEP range consists of high-end power cables using only UP-OCC copper conductors of extreme purity, with silver plating. The NEP-3002 III is therefore no exception with 3 copper UP-OCC silver plated conductors with a cross section of 12AWG (3.80mm²). The insulation and shielding of the cable is made with PVC CL3, then aluminium foil and finally braided OFC copper. These 3 layers make it possible to reduce very significantly the interference that could degrade the signal and thus the sound restitution.
