Like the NES-3004 II, this is one of the best mid-range models you can get for the money. The cable offers plenty of bass as two thirds of the conductors are copper, clarity of imaging and perfect focus of the mids as the conductors are mono-crystalline copper and there is no typical thickening and blurring as in similar cables of this class/ and the highs are supremely airy after a thorough burn-in /36 hours!/ and offer great space that is believable! The first clients who have this cable in their system are absolutely delighted!

Technological terms:

UP-OCC - pure monocrystalline metal structure without typical crystals on the surface, the highest quality level of current development, technological know-how of Neotech Dr. Ohno.

OCC - technologically treated conductor in the form of cold rolling of OFC metal and its thickening reducing up to 80% of the original thickness, further surface polishing of the conductor and treatment in a cryo chamber.

OFC - a drawn conductor that has a long grain structure, i.e. about 50 times better structure for conducting sound than the standard manufacturing process

The concept of flat conductor - as we know, sound propagates through a conductor superficially, and if we want to make those surfaces as many as possible for better transmission of all frequencies, we have to add the number of conductors or increase the circumference of the conductor in the case of a round conductor. This brings with it problems, higher cost of conductors, thicker cable with the need for better shielding. Neotech came up with an elegant flat wire arrangement three years ago. One flat conductor is about 2.80 - 3.24 of a standard 0.80 - 1.20mm thick round conductor.

This industrial company was founded by Professor Ohno of Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan in 1991 in Taiwan. When he introduced to the hifi industry a standard in the form of monocrystalline silver and copper conductors known as UP-OCC /pure conductor without typical crystals on the surface created by drawing the conductor during production/, then technologically modified originally round conductors, in a star or spiral shape, to improve the sound expression /better dynamics and behavior of silver on the bass/ and thus increase the transmitted area of sound. It is also worth mentioning the latest technology in the production of flat conductors /multiple times the transmitted sound area compared to round conductors up to 3.24 times/. During the following period, new conductor geometry procedures were introduced /randomly braided conductors in the cable body, active shielding of conductors by the system of gradual application of newly developed materials /teflon, carbon/ and then by steaming copper and silver foils of several microns thickness on the cable body as a secondary protection of conductors. Currently, a number of global brands such as Siltech, Audioquest, Atlas cable, and dozens of others are sourcing their conductors from this technology company. These conductors find application in the highest models of their production sold for tens of thousands of euros.

So I believe that this company is a world leader in new technologies in the hifi industry and should not escape your attention. I am proud to represent this industrial brand here in the Czech Republic. NEOTECH NES-3005 MK2 - speaker cable UP-OCC copper silver plated 6x1,3mm² Ø 7,80mm

This Neotech speaker cable features 8-core StarQuad architecture with central isolation to reduce capacitive effect. The 1.3mm² conductors feature strands of different cross-sections to reduce propagation effects. Insulation is provided by a sequence of three layers of CL3 PVC, fabric and PVC in addition to the central insulation. Due to its large cross section, this HP cable can be used for large loudspeaker systems. For bi-wiring applications I recommend the NES 3004 II cable.
