The common character of sound for NCF cables:

NCF technology - NCF Nano Crystal² Formula
NCF is included in selected Furutech products and contains a special crystalline material that has two "active" properties. Firstly, it creates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Secondly, it converts thermal energy into far infrared radiation. Furutech combines this remarkable material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional "piezoelectric effect" damping properties. The resulting Nano Crystal² formula is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material. It was created by Furutech and is found exclusively in Furutech products.

PowerFlux NCF - an extremely powerful pure transmission power cable

Basic cables
Powerflux conductors are 68-conductor α (Alpha) OCC twisted around μ-conductor fibers with special PE insulation or dielectric. (Alpha conductors are fine OCC wires treated with Furutech's Alpha cryogenic and demagnetization process). The dielectric is surrounded by a RoHS-compliant PVC inner jacket that contains a carbon powder to increase damping, which in turn is covered by a full shielding braid of α (Alpha) conductors. A further flexible PVC outer sheath and a nylon braid sheath complete the job.

The extraordinary FI-50 Series connectors are the result of the meticulous way Furutech engineers research and refine every element of signal transmission using breakthrough technologies to achieve their goal of pure transmission technology.

Furutech's beautifully crafted FI-50(R) IEC and FI-50M(R) Series piezoceramic connector housings are made from multiple layers of carbon fiber in a damping and insulating acetal copolymer, surrounded by non-magnetic stainless steel strips. The connector bodies combine two "active" materials: nano-sized ceramic particles and powdered carbon. Nylon and glass fibers are also included, creating an extremely efficient, mechanically and electrically non-resonant connector body that is perhaps the most advanced in the world.
