Project V1 power cable - if you've made it this far, you're at the end of your journey to perfection

includes special connectors that are exclusive to this model: an IEC connector, a Schuko connector and damping rings using Furutech's anti-static, anti-resonance NCF material combined with special, high-quality nylon insulation. The bodies of these special connectors and damping rings are made of four layers of hybrid carbon fibre NCF and are finished with a clear cured damping coating.

The connector contacts are made of pure non-magnetic rhodium plated copper with Alpha (α) treatment and mounted in insulated bodies with NCF material. The NCF material provides the purest electrical transmission without coloration, improving soundstage depth and sharpness, harmonic and tonal balance. Low frequencies are better distorted, with better definition due to lower noise.

As for the conductors of the Project V1 cable, they are made of three different layers: the first is made of silver-plated OCC copper, the second and last of ultra-high purity DUCC copper, all materials taking advantage of the Alpha (α) brand treatment. The high purity ultra-crystalline DUCC copper, supplied and regulated with strict quality control by Mistubishi Materials Industries, is one of the best conductors Furutech has found for signal transmission. Mitsubishi processes this extremely pure, oxygen-free copper with a new technology that optimally aligns the crystals to achieve a highly efficient conductor. Furutech combines DUCC with its famous α-OCC copper and processes this combination through the Alpha (α) cryogenic and demagnetization process, significantly increasing purity and conductivity.

The cable sheaths have been designed to reduce resonance and the effects of mechanical stress while retaining some flexibility. They are made of premium damping polypropylene and hard cross-woven fibre (0.02 mm soft polypropylene / 0.25 mm hard polypropylene).
