Three hours after the burn-in, a raging steam locomotive is coming at you from the speakers. It's really an experience of a lifetime! I would never have believed that some connections are so heavily addictive. There aren't many power cords that can offer what this one does, the music has a perfect bass foundation just by the fact that there are wires like concrete, the music has punch and really entertains, and the music also has the necessary sheen, but it doesn't dazzle like many wires where there is silver plated copper! It's a whole different league of music, clarity, liquidity and solidity of display. I highly recommend it for systems that need to be set up, where bass, clarity and lack of treble are needed. Technological terms:

UP-OCC - pure single crystal metal structure without typical crystals on the surface, the highest quality level of current development, technological know-how of Neotech Dr. Ohno.

OCC - technologically treated conductor in the form of cold rolling of OFC metal and its thickening reducing up to 80% of the original thickness, further surface polishing of the conductor and treatment in a cryo chamber.

OFC - a drawn conductor that has a long grain structure, i.e. about 50 times better structure for conducting sound than the standard manufacturing process

The concept of flat conductor - as we know, sound propagates through a conductor superficially, and if we want to make those surfaces as many as possible for better transmission of all frequencies, we have to add the number of conductors or increase the circumference of the conductor in the case of a round conductor. This brings with it problems, higher cost of conductors, thicker cable with the need for better shielding. Neotech came up with an elegant flat wire arrangement three years ago. One flat conductor is about 2.80 - 3.24 of a standard 0.80 - 1.20mm thick round conductor.

NEOTECH NEP-3001 III - Silver plated copper power cable UP-OCC 5,26 mm²

Neotech's NEP range consists of high-end power cables using only UP-OCC copper conductors of extreme purity, with silver plating. NEP-3001 III is therefore no exception with 3 copper UP-OCC silver plated conductors with a cross section of 10AWG (5.26 mm²). The cable insulation and shielding is made with PVC CL3, then aluminium foil and finally braided OFC copper. These 3 layers make it possible to reduce very significantly the interference that could degrade the signal and thus the sound restitution.
