Materials
■ Contacts
The base material is deoxidized phosphor bronze (1.4 mm thick) for strength and secure contact. Once connected, they can withstand loads in excess of 7 kg. The surface is thoroughly polished twice.

■ Plating
The manufacturing process starts from the base coating. The material that has been stamped as a part is hand polished piece by piece after machine polishing of the barrel.

The coating of the P-079/C-079 is 24k gold.
In general, the 18K gold plating used for induction is actually a "gold alloy" due to its enhanced corrosion resistance and durability properties. However, because we consider its sound quality to be the most important priority factor, pure gold without nickel, cobalt or bismuth is chosen for the P-079/C-079 plating.

Body
■ Body
30% PBT filled glass has excellent machinability and provides excellent electrical insulation. The highly rigid body of P-037/C-037 effectively dampens high-speed vibration. All screws, which were originally designed for the P/C series, are made of high-strength stainless steel, which is a non-magnetic substance. In addition, the cable cannot be separated from the plug by a force of less than 30 kg, which is an important safety feature.

■ Stainless steel screws
All screws in the P/C series are made of high-strength stainless steel, so their heads will not collapse even if you put too much force on them. In addition, because it is a non-magnetic material, it helps to achieve a hign S/N ratio without being magnetized in its connective part.

■ Outer cover
The outer cover of the P/C series is made of PC (polycarbonate) for its rigidity and hardness. It helps to dampen minor vibrations at fast response and reduce distortion due to its excellent mechanical strength.
