Furutech's Alpha two-stage cryogenic and demagnetization process. Using cutting-edge technology and materials, Furutech has developed a low-temperature, two-stage process that dramatically improves all aspects of audio and video performance. The treatment begins during the manufacturing process with a deep, conditioning cryogenic freeze of all metal parts. Using cutting-edge coolants - liquid N2 or He - Furutech achieves temperatures ranging from -196 to -250℃. At these extreme temperatures, the treated parts actually change their molecular structure, thereby relieving internal stresses. The molecules bond more tightly and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves electrical conductivity and thus energy and signal transmission. In the second step of the Alpha process, the same parts are subjected to a patented ring demagnetization treatment. Conventional high-power magnets used for this purpose often increase the magnetic effects; leaving some areas more magnetized than others. This patented process uses controlled attenuation to remove magnetization for an immediate more vibrant and colorful improvement. Ring demagnetization further increases the conductivity of all treated materials.
ALL metal parts used in Furutech products undergo the Alpha Process treatment to ensure all connectors, wires and metal parts are in a perfectly voltage-free, stable and highly conductive condition.

Furutech introduces the high-end RCA CF-102 NCF connector. This is Furutech's first high performance "signal" connector with Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF) technology. This material is the cumulative result of over 30 years of Furutech's efforts to eliminate electrical and mechanical resonances in signal transmission and performance in high performance audio and video applications. Center Conductor -Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF).
An α (Alpha) OCC Rhodium plated single-piece conductor design with Furutech's NCF material injection molded into select Furutech products, NCF contains a special crystalline material that has two "active" properties. First, it creates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Second, it converts thermal energy into far infrared radiation. Furutech combines this remarkable material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional "piezoelectric effect" damping properties. The resulting Nano Crystal² formula is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material. It was created by Furutech and is found exclusively in Furutech products.
