All GigaWatt devices are equipped with an innovative two-stage system of internal power distribution directly to the output sockets. It is based on solid conductive rails made of thick polished solid copper bars with a cross section of up to 30 mm 2 on each rail. The first stage provides lossless and uniform voltage distribution to the individual filtering branches, while the second provides voltage directly to the output sockets. It also allows stable power distribution regardless of the load on the individual output sockets. All types of distribution rails used are of GigaWatt's own design and have been designed and manufactured in-house.

The production of such rails is extremely costly due to the quality of the copper they are made from and the technology used to manufacture them. Distribution rails are made from Cu-OF (high conductivity oxygen-free copper) and Cu-ETP (refined copper with high conductivity metallurgy) cathodes, both with a minimum purity of 99.99%. The copper from which the rails are made is subjected to enamelling and refining annealing, which thickens the material, improving its conductivity, plasticity and corrosion resistance in most environments. It is characterised by excellent conductivity, low impurities and residual oxygen. The mechanical treatment of the rails is carried out with a technology that does not emit heat, which could cause oxidation of the copper and adversely affect the quality of the conductor.

The PF-2 EVO+ is an improved version of the advanced filtering power supply block designed to power and protect HI-FI audio and video systems. New PCB board architecture, non-magnetic screws and other improvements move this rail into a higher category again, but at the same time maintaining the price.

GigaWatt Powersync is the latest basic power cable designed for Hi-Fi audio-video systems. This cable is also a standard addition to our conditioners and rails.

The cable's working conductors are made of 99,997% pure copper (OFHC C10100), additionally subjected to an annealing process to obtain a homogeneous structure and better conductivity.

Five strands of high conductivity 1.5 mm2 are arranged in a strand with a newly developed geometry. This ensures a reliable, non-rotating current flow and prevents faults at the output. The low cable resistance caused by the cross-section of the conductors and the way they are connected to the connectors guarantees a huge current margin. On the other hand, its relatively large intrinsic capacitance, which results from the geometry of the conductors and the properties of the dielectric, provides excellent filtering and suppression properties for a wide range of faults.

The conductors are insulated with a new, flexible PK90AT28 insulation material with a very low dielectric constant. The outer sheath is made of GA 70AT03, a soft insulating material that suppresses unwanted vibrations. The cable cores are protected by a static shield made of laminated aluminium foil with an internal copper current wire. The hermetic shielding structure covering 100% of the cable surface perfectly protects against any external interference. At the same time, the shielding prevents the occurrence and propagation of internal disturbances and also draws the collected currents into the ground wire.

The cable is equipped with high quality connectors with a large contact area that ensures reliable current flow. The contacts have undergone a demagnetization process. All conductors are mechanically connected without soldering, which guarantees reliability and optimal performance.
